Our mission, as Atlanta's unique French-language theatre company, is to bring the language and cultures
of the French-speaking world to life on the American stage. We strive to create a true dialogue
between American and French-speaking artists.

Who are we? Qui sommes-nous?

TdR was founded in 1996 by Atlanta actress Carolyn Cook, fulfilling her dream of performing theater in her adopted language, French. Four years ago she passed the torch to current Artistic Director Park Krausen. Since then, the company has grown to perform for audiences not only in Atlanta, but across the Southeast, nationally and even internationally. Our educational outreach programs, École des Rêves, has reached equally as far.

With a team of highly professional, bilingual theatre artists, the company has gone on to produce new works and classics, often playing to sold-out houses. Tom Key, Artistic Director of Theatrical Outfit in Atlanta, has called our work "a glorious production of theater that made me...grateful and proud to be a part of this community, and filled with wonder through the power of art at the mysterious miracle of being alive."
